Hello,

I receive a 500 Connection timed out error.

I know that there are some threads to this error but I can´t find a solution for us.

This is the error description:

Error: -5

Version: 7000

Component: ICM

Date/Time: Tue Mar 04 07:02:38 2008

Module: icxxthr.c

Line: 2698

Server: crmprod_CRP_01

Error Tag: {-}

Detail: Connection to partner timed out after 60s

Now I have found in this forum some information about the parameters icm/keep_alive_timeout, icm/conn_timeout and icm/server_port_*

Our settings for this parameters are:

icm/server_port_0 = PROT=HTTP,PORT=8001

icm/server_port_1 = PROT=SMTP,PORT=25

icm/keep_alive_timeout (sec.) = 600

icm/conn_timeout (msec.) = 5000

Can someone please explain me which parameters occurs this error and which parameters I can change that the connection time is longer than 60 seconds?

Where can I change the parameters?

Hi Experts,

In of the steps during POST INSTALLATION of PI7.0 it says to set the variable CPIC_MAX_CONV, using the transaction RZ10.

When i logged in to the abap system , and checked in RZ10,did find any variable of this name.

Do I need to create it first and then set the value gw/max_conn_per_wp.

If yes, give me the steps to do this. or else any other alternative.

Hallo,

we upgraded our PI (test) to 7.10 EHP1.

When setting up a connection in SM59 we get error code HTTPIO_PLG_CANCELED. When we create this connection on our production PI (without EHP1) we do not get any error.

When we want to send a message to this address, we get <SAP:Stack>Error while receiving by HTTP (error code: 110 , error text:

HTTPIO_PLG_CANCELED)</SAP:Stack> in SXMB_MONI.

Can someone tell us how we have to fix this?

Hello ,

Is SAP PI 7.4 released? If so what are the installation options -- meaning Single stack / dual stack / PO?

Another thing -- Which Pi versions does SAP Netweaver 7.4 support. Our client is on SAP NW7.3 and SAP Pi 7.30 single stack. They are planning to upgrade to SAP NW 7.4 -- does this mean that PI also needs to be upgraded?

Hi there,

is the URL for the CPACache Refresh under PI 7.11 also the same as on XI 3.0?

CPACache/refresh?mode=full

Cause i cannot use the URL

http://host:50000/CPACache/refresh?mode=full

with any user.. i tried every user.. user with SAP_ALL etc.. but alsoways 3 tries and then Error 401 Unauthorized?!

Can some help here?

Dear Experts,

At the TCode SXMB_ADM > Define Interfaces for Archiving and Retention Periods

Inside the transaction there's an information icon and when we click the information icon, a performance assistant window will popup. Reading the information I found the following sentence:

"XML messages that do not have the status Processed Successfully remain in the database."

Does this mean the messages that is eligible to be deleted are those processed successfully? What about the messages in the terminated with error status?

If I'm not mistaken, the terminated messages are in the final status too since we cannot reprocess them.

Hello PI Experts:

We have created an RFC to extract PDF documents from the SAP DMS repository.

So far we are only able to see the XML tag in the successful Payload output but the the PDF data is not sent, here is one example below (but even when we have modified the RFC to output the xsd:base64binary at 2nd level still the same result):

Ideally, we would like to be able to accept as many images as the RFC can generate (unlimited) into an XML Payload since the requestor may request multiple documents on the interface screen. One PDF in XML would be good, many would be great!

Any thoughts that can be shared would be most appreciated! Criticism for not seeing the obvious also accepted!

Hi experts,

I need to generate 2 distinct files with 2 different names like this pattern:

file 1: cMMYYYY ex: c012013

file 2: mMMYYYY ex: m012013

If I create one field for each message type, the first message type for file C and the second message type for file M, and I insert inside this field a date like MMYYYY can I use this content only for Variable Substitution and not for the result of the files?

Hi All,

My Sender Communication channel is failing with the error "Configured Source directory "c:\Sender" does not exist. In the Same System XI is also installed. I have created fodler in C drive and tried i got the error. I am not using File Content Conversion. It is a simple .xml file. I am using the following Parameters in my Communcaiton Channel.

Sender Adapter : File
Transport Protocol : File System (NFS)
Message Protocol: File
Adapter Engine : Central Adapter Engine

File Access Parameter :
Source Directory : c:\Sender
File Name : *.xml

Kindly guide me to proceed further.

Hi,

The scenario which I am trying to configure is Mainframe(FTP)->PI->FileShare(File). I need to pick the file from mainframe , zip the file and save the file on to file share. The name of the zip file should be as the name of the source file. The steps which I have completed are:

1) Sender- Pick the file from Data set - PI has successfully picked up the file and I have used content conversion to convert the flat file to xml. and the structure looks like <input>

Content Conversion is configured in a such a way that each Record element will hold the record line.

Content conversion is working fine.

2) Receiver Side - Configured Message Transform Bean to convert the Xml to Plain and the paramters I have configured in the Module tab

Message Transform Bean is followed by PayloadZip Bean in order to zip the text file .

While Communication Channel converting the xml to Plain using Message Transfrom Beam.. The channel has ended up with the following error.

"Transmitting the message to endpoint <local> using connection File_http://sap.com/xi/XI/System failed, due to: com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: com.sap.aii.af.sdk.xi.adapter.trans.TransformException: Error converting Message: 'java.lang.Exception: Exception in XML Parser (format problem?):'org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: Premature end of file.''; nested exception caused by: java.lang.Exception: Exception in XML Parser (format problem?):'org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: Premature end of file.'

Could you let me know about the fix to resolve the above issue?
