How to add a field to standard proxy definition?

Dear Experts,

 

We have used standard content for our interface between SRM and ERP in one scenario. It is a proxy - to - proxy interface without any message mapping. Now, we have a requirement to add an additional field to the message interface/ proxy structure. Since, it is a standard interface I have created another data type with the required field and added that to the original data type for both sender and reciever and hence I can see the new field in the message interface definitions in PI. Now, the problem is I can not see that field in SPROXY transaction in SRM and ERP as well.

 

Please suggest me how to proceed ? Is there a way to enhance the standard interface? Do let me know at the earliest possible.

CPACache Refresh Full under PI 7.11?!

Hi there,

 

is the URL for the CPACache Refresh under PI 7.11 also the same as on XI 3.0?

 

CPACache/refresh?mode=full

 

?

 

Cause i cannot use the URL

 

http://host:50000/CPACache/refresh?mode=full

 

with any user.. i tried every user.. user with SAP_ALL etc.. but alsoways 3 tries and then Error 401 Unauthorized?!

 

Can some help here?

500 Connection timed out

Hello,

 

I receive a 500 Connection timed out error.

I know that there are some threads to this error but I can´t find a solution for us.

 

This is the error description:

 

Error:            -5

Version:        7000

Component:  ICM

Date/Time:    Tue Mar 04 07:02:38 2008

Module:        icxxthr.c

Line:             2698

Server:         crmprod_CRP_01

Error Tag:     {-}

Detail:          Connection to partner timed out after 60s

 

Now I have found in this forum some information about the parameters icm/keep_alive_timeout, icm/conn_timeout and icm/server_port_*

 

Our settings for this parameters are:

 

icm/server_port_0 = PROT=HTTP,PORT=8001

icm/server_port_1 = PROT=SMTP,PORT=25

 

icm/keep_alive_timeout (sec.) = 600

icm/conn_timeout (msec.) = 5000

 

Can someone please explain me which parameters occurs this error and which parameters I can change that the connection time is longer than 60 seconds?

Where can I change the parameters?

Getting HTTP/1.1 401 Unauthorized while Sending the SOAP Request

Hi Experts,

      We have a scenario SOAP-PI-RFC Synchronous scenario. We are getting HTTP/1.1 401 Unauthorized when we try to send the request using SOAP UI. but when I try and execute the interface using RWB and directly send the message to integation engine the interface is working fine.

The User ID that I am using contains all roles and profiles and has all the access.

I have PI 7.1 SP 10.

 

Looking forward to your help and suggestions on the same.

SMQ1 & SMQ2 Monitor

Hi Friends,

 

I know that SMQ2 ia a inbound queue and SMQ1 is a outboud queue but wanted to know where this queues are present exactly and Purpose

.

I guess SMQ2 is the first step in IE after AE forwards the PI SOAP Message and before the Pipeline steps.

Once Pipeline completes the Call Adapter Step then message goes to Adapter through SMQ1. Please clarify

How to send a PDF file with File name over proxy to the SAP system

Dear Experts,

 

I have a requirement to pick a pdf file using SFTP channel and then to send it to the SAP system over proxy with pdf file name.

 

I have created a data type for proxy  with two fields, one with the File name another with the file content. It is similar as  described below.

I have used a UDF to get the file name of the pdf  and mapped this UDF to FileName field under datatype and used the dynamic file setting in the channel.

Sender channel has successfully picked up the file and sent it to adapter engine but it failed in the request message mapping stage under Pipeline  with following error :  

 

Runtime exception occured during application mapping

com/SAP/XI/tf/_MM_Test~

com.sap.aii.utilxi.misc.api.BaseRuntimeException : Content is not allowed in the prolog.

 

Although when I have sent the PDF with only one field as Filecontent, it is getting processed successfully.

 

Appreciate if any one can suggest any alternative/resolution. We have restriction to not use Integrated configuration in this case.

What are the meaning of XI, PI and BI?

Hi all,

I am new in this world and I am trying to understand basics concept, but I cannot understand the meaning of these "XI" "BI" and "PI" (and I don't know if I am missing some of them!). I cannot understand what are these? I don't mean what they do, or their capabilities ... I mean: what is XI (PI BI)? is a component ? are they modules? are they versions? are they connected? If I have one of them can I have one more ? can I upgrade one to one other?

I know it's impossible to answer to this question in a post ... I am looking for a document that explains an overview on this concept I would like to understand.

Dear Experts,

 

We are working on one of the interface we need to do Digital sign and Verify sign the payload. Our scenario is like this, we have to do digital sign on transaction part of the payload and signed data need to insert in header part of the payload that is signature tag. Similarly we need to verify the payload digital sign which is coming from client. In this scenario we are interchanging our public certificates, to verify the digital sign.

 

This we need to achieve in mapping .How to achieve in mapping.Please find the Sign tag in mapping.Please respond as soon as possible .

How to Attach the payload using Mail Attribute in receiver Mail adapter

Hi All.

 

Scanario: SFTP to Mail adapter.

 

My requirement is whenever file comes i need to send the same file as attachment with the same file name using MAIL adapter. and the body of the content should be like as below.


" Dear Team XXXX has been placed to SFTP please check, here XXXX = same file name which we received from SFTP".


present set up.

 

1. I enabled  "Use mail package" option in receiver MAIL CC.

      so with out enabling "Keep Attachment" this setup working fine and i can able to see above mentioned content of the body. to read the file name we used the UDF at mapping level.

 

but when ever i do select "Keep Attachment" my body of the content is attached as a attachment of the mail.

 

can you please guide further.

Intermittent issue in PI-com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.MessageExpiredException

Hi everbody,

 

We are with Intermittent problem in SAP PI 7.0.

Some messages have this error below:

 

<SAP:AdditionalText>com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.MessageExpiredException:

expired</SAP:AdditionalText>

The error above is appearing in Synchronous messages in trx sxi_monitor.

 

We read the note 730870 and the timeout parameters is ok.

We tried to stop/start in 'SAP XI AF CPA Cache' and 'SAP XI AF Messaging' but it not worked.

We have one message in a SAP but  I think they do not have idea yet.

The adapters are involved are RFC and SOAP.

We changed the parameters:

- 'xiadapter.inbound.timeout.default' from 180000 to 300000 .

- 'syncMessageDeliveryTimeoutMsec' from 300000 to 600000 .

- 'syncMessageRemover.checkInterval' from 60 to 5 .

 

Please, could you have some idea to resolve this issue ?

 

ps: The error started after the stop/start for renew certification in keystore (j2ee) .

       I am in a scinario RFC to SOAP sinchronoyus scinario frequently i used to get this error "com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.MessageExpiredException: Message 1c18dd70-c028-11de-895c-001a4b081ffe(INBOUND) expired''. Can you please share your vies for the reason fo this error and how to eliminate this.

iaik.security.ssl.SSLException: Peer sent alert: Alert Fatal: handshake

Hello all;

 

From SAP PI 7.30 we call we a SOAP web-service over https. This service was running for a long time. The provider of the web-service upgraded their SSL certificates from SHA-1 signing algorithm to the stronger and more robust SHA-256. After that, we get the following error: iaik.security.ssl.SSLException: Peer sent alert: Alert Fatal: handshake. As said, just before the change the connection was working. I have added the required VeriSign CA root certificates to the Trusted CA's keystore within NWA. (VeriSign Class 3 Secure Server CA - G4 and G5) Something must be wrong. When I look into SXMB_MONI, I see something for which I don't know if it is related: encryptionAlgorithmEncryptionEncriptionSignature value DES_EDE3_CBC. I am not an expert in this, but could it be possible that this should be AES256-CBC? How to change that?

 

Any help or suggestion is welcome. My next step will be to install XPI Inspector to figure out what is wrong.
